WOMEN AND CHILDRENÕS SHELTER
The womenÕs overnight shelter program provides 75 beds for emergency shelter to women & children. Guests are provided with a safe place to sleep overnight as well as showers, meals, and chapel services during their stay, and case management services are provided to women who consistently come to the Mission for overnight shelter.
The overnight shelter program aims to be a stepping stone on the road towards permanent housing, and aims to provide hope for the future and provide practical resources for shelter guests as they look for jobs, stable housing, and attempt to transform their lives. The Mission provides a total of 225 beds for men, women, and children every night. MENÕS SHELTER PROGRAM

MEDICAL CLINIC
The Modesto Gospel Mission provides a free medical clinic for the uninsured another avenue of hope and healing for the poor and homeless of Stanislaus county. Our free medical clinic is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings and is staffed completely by volunteer medical professionals.
The clinic provides uninsured patients with non-threatening medical conditions access to basic medical care resources as well as additional referrals to other agencies. Programs & Activities
We provide recovery programs, recreational activities, and life-skill classes.
Community
Our Freedom Road Day Program provides a safe space for interaction to the community.
Case Management
We offer housing assistance, as well as help with obtaining legal identification.
Faith-Based Activities

San Joaquin Fair Housing Inc. has been in existence for over three decades. Incorporated in 1983 as a nonprofit to fulfill the Federal GovernmentÕs Department of Housing and Urban DevelopmentÕs (HUD) requirements under CDBG funding to further Fair Housing in the community. We strive to provide education, mediation, housing assistance, complaint investigation, and resolution. We do this by working alongside property managers, property owners, City and County Code Enforcement, Public Health, Human Services Agency, and Housing Authority of San Joaquin. The Program has evolved to include education and testing in Fair Housing practices to fulfill the national and local CDBG objectives to affirmatively further Fair Housing within our community.
